Area AreaSenzuSenzu

During the great eruption of 1552, lava flows from the north-eastern part of the caldera filled the area from the east of Senzu to Oshima Park, reaching the sea. Some of the lava flows that branched off and flowed down the stream formed " Lava Arched Bridge."

The ground that existed when the lava flowed down has since been eroded away, leaving only the hard lava flow arching in the air to create the natural wonder of the bridge.
